A family sharing an everyday moment at home while HarborNavi keeps selected memories local

Local intelligence for the place that matters most

Harbor Innovations

Why we left Big Tech to build a memory for the home.

Read our story

Our homes kept recording. They still forgot us.

An important family moment could be captured, then buried in a full day of footage. A smart speaker could know tomorrow's schedule, yet anyone nearby could ask. A package could disappear before an alert became useful.

What time will Alex be out tomorrow?

Smart speaker

Alex leaves at 8:15 AM.

No identity check
It knew the schedule, not who was asking.Anyone nearby could ask for private household context.

It captured the theft, but did not help in time.A useful home should recognize the situation and notify the owner while action is still possible.

Something was broken about how homes remember. The signals existed, but context, privacy, and action lived in separate systems. We decided to build the missing layer ourselves.

Home technology should remember for the family, not learn from the family for someone else.

Two principles guide every product decision.

A home memory should last a lifetime.

Privacy is not a premium feature.

HarborNavi grows from years of local AI work.

Hardware, operating systems, and real workflows taught us that local intelligence must be capable, understandable, and easy to live with.

Nexus AI Workstation

Our local AI hardware foundation: dedicated compute, upgradeable storage, and practical on-device workflows.

Harbor OS

The software layer that brings local models, devices, permissions, and explainable actions into one system.

Built with people who challenge the details.

We are working with product builders, smart-home experts, and early families. Names and formal endorsements will be published only with permission.

01Local-first should feel simpler, not more technical.

02Interoperability matters more than another closed ecosystem.

03Family memory must stay owner-controlled.

Three things changed.

The technology became ready just as families began demanding a better privacy model.

01

Edge AI became capable

60 TOPS-class hardware can run meaningful models where the data lives.

02

Device interoperability matured

Home Assistant made a broad, local device layer practical.

03

People started asking who listens

Convenience no longer excuses sending a home's full history away.

10 homes. One honest first step.
